Fill of grave cut A-014, which is intrusive into the top of pit A-005. The skull was originally in situ at the western end of the grave but was disturbed when pit fill A-004 was being excavated. The infant, which appeared to be below 1 year, possibly neonate, was laid on its right side, slightly flexed, with the spine against the north side of the grave cut. The arms lay in front of the torso. The bones were relatively well preserved due to the burial being deeper than many of the others and it remaining undisturbed by animal or root action. A few small pot sherds were recovered from the fill. The infant bones were removed and immediately reburied approx 100m north of the trench.
