Compacted bricky deposit over the whole area of the square. Light greyish-brown, clay rich, with relatively little pottery or other finds/inclusions. It appears like a layer of mudbrick buildings collapse which has been compacted and homogenised by the passage of water, as it remains near to the surface. This is the main deposit into which the upper features - pit A-004 and the infant burials - have been cut. 100% sieved
