Description:
Grave cut for late infant burial [A-009]. Small, narrow, but very neatly cut. Long rough rectangle in plan, with rounded corners. Near-vertical sides and roughly flat base. Relatively deep compared to the other late burials. At the upper-most level of the cut, there's a larger shallow cut which roughly corresponds to the shape of a large flat stone which was found nearby at approximately the same level (notebook p12) - a grave marker, probably displaced by the plough. At the lowest level of the cut, the eastern end has been disturbed by a fairly large rodent burrow. Profile drawn as well as the plan (notebook p24)
